Steps to cook
-
Preparing the Ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we'll be cooking with them shortly
-
Cooking the Rice. Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions, usually about 10-12 minutes on low to medium heat. Then drain it and let it rest for a while under a lid.
-
Preparing the Carrot. Meanwhile, peel the carrot and grate it finely or cut it into thin strips.
-
Preparing the Lettuce. Wash and dry the iceberg lettuce, then tear it into smaller pieces.
-
Frying the Ground Meat. Place the ground pork on a hot dry pan and fry over medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes, until it sears and starts to lightly brown. Break it into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon while frying.
-
Seasoning with Soy Sauce. Pour in the soy sauce and stir. If the mixture is too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of water and simmer briefly on low heat for about 30-60 seconds so the meat is evenly coated with the sauce.
-
Serving. Divide the rice into a bowl, add the crispy pork, lettuce, and carrot. Serve immediately.

Meatloaf in Creamy Sauce and Carlsbad Dumpling
Make a traditional creamy sauce, just a little differently and more quickly. Instead of beef, we will prepare it with meatloaf roast. As a side dish, we will use a soft and delicious Karlovy Vary dumpling.
