Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍖✨
-
Chop the onion. Finely chop the onion
-
Chop the pepper. Cut the peppers into small dice
-
Brown the meat. Sear the meat in a pan over medium to high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown, then set aside
-
Saute the onion and pepper. In the same pan, saute the onion with the pepper in butter or oil over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until softened
-
Add the ground paprika. Add the ground paprika and saute over medium heat for about 1 minute to release its aroma
-
Add the bouillon and water. Add the bouillon and water (or use stock), return the meat to the pan, and simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes so the meat heats through and the flavors combine
-
Reduce the sauce. Remove the meat, pour in the cream, and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the sauce reduces by about one third
-
Blend the sauce. Blend the sauce and strain it, or leave it rustic to taste
-
Add the sour cream. Add the sour cream, stir, and do not cook any further
-
Serve. Serve with warmed bread dumplings 🍖🍽️✨

Meatloaf in Creamy Sauce and Carlsbad Dumpling
Make a traditional creamy sauce, just a little differently and more quickly. Instead of beef, we will prepare it with meatloaf roast. As a side dish, we will use a soft and delicious Karlovy Vary dumpling.
