Quick Marinated Beef Sirloin in Cream Sauce with a Meat Patty and a Dumpling

A traditional dish with beef in a creamy sauce, prepared quickly even on a weekday. Excellent with bread dumplings.

What you will need

Ground Beef Patties 1 pcs -
Bread dumpling 3 slice -
Double Cream 60 ml -
Root vegetable mix 100 g -
Onion 0.5 pcs

Mustard 0.5 tbsp -
Lemon 0.25 pcs -
Sugar 0.5 tbsp -
Bay Leaf 1 pcs

Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🥘✨

Cut the onion. Peel the onion and cut it into strips

Saute the vegetable base. Heat the fat in a pan, add the onion and vegetables, and saute over medium heat for about 5 minutes until they begin to turn lightly golden

Caramelize the sugar. Add the sugar and let it caramelize over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes

Add the mustard. Stir in the mustard and briefly saute for about 1 minute

Cook the vegetables with spices. Add a little water, add the bay leaf, and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes until the vegetables soften

Fry the meat patty. Shape the ground meat, fry it in a pan on both sides over medium to higher heat until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side

Blend the sauce. Remove the bay leaf from the sauce and blend it until smooth

Finish with cream and season. Add the cream, let it simmer over low heat for about 1 minute, and season with lemon juice

Heat the dumplings. Warm the dumplings over steam or in the oven

Serve the dish. Serve the meat with dumplings and sauce 🍽️✨
