Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients – we'll be cooking with them in a moment 🥩✨
-
Form the meatballs. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and form it into small meatballs.
-
Brown the meatballs. Fry the meatballs in a pan for about 5–6 minutes over medium heat, turning so they brown on all sides, then set them aside.
-
Chop the bacon. Cut the bacon into smaller pieces.
-
Sauté the bacon. Sauté the bacon in the pot or pan where you browned the meatballs, cooking it about 3–4 minutes until golden.
-
Add the vegetables. Add the vegetables and sauté them for about 3–4 minutes until they soften slightly.
-
Add the meatballs, canned tomatoes and bouillon. Return the meatballs to the pot, pour in the canned tomatoes, add the bouillon and half a cup of water per serving (or use stock) and simmer for about 10 minutes.
-
Pass the sauce through a sieve. Remove the meatballs and pass the sauce through a sieve.
-
Reheat the dumpling. Reheat the dumpling by steaming (or in the microwave).
-
Serve. Serve 🍽️✨

Meatloaf in Creamy Sauce and Carlsbad Dumpling
Make a traditional creamy sauce, just a little differently and more quickly. Instead of beef, we will prepare it with meatloaf roast. As a side dish, we will use a soft and delicious Karlovy Vary dumpling.
