Steps to cook

  1. Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients and lay them out on the work surface - we will cook step by step from them 🍖🍟

  2. Slice the mushrooms. Clean the mushrooms and slice them into thin pieces.

  3. Dice the onion. Cut the onion into small cubes.

  4. Dice the bacon. Cut the bacon into small cubes.

  5. Chop the parsley. Finely chop the parsley (optional).

  6. Bake the fries. Spread the fries on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the oven according to the package instructions (usually at 200 C for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown).

  7. Prepare the meat. Lightly pound the meat to make it thinner, and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  8. Coat the schnitzel. Prepare a three-stage breading and coat the schnitzel first in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.

  9. Fry the schnitzel. Heat a deeper layer of oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the schnitzel on both sides for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then remove it.

  10. Saute the onion and bacon. Add the onion and bacon to the same pan and cook over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until they start to brown slightly.

  11. Add the mushrooms. Add the mushrooms and saute over medium heat for about 5 minutes until softened, then season with salt and pepper.

  12. Add the cream. Pour in the cream and, if desired, add the chopped parsley, then briefly simmer over low heat for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  13. Serve. Serve the schnitzel with the mushroom sauce and baked fries 🍽️✨
