Steps to cook
-
Preparing the Ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients – we'll be cooking with them shortly ✨
-
Cooking the Potatoes. Peel the potatoes, cut them into smaller pieces, and put them to boil in salted water. Cook the potatoes over medium heat for about 15–20 minutes, depending on size, until soft.
-
Preparing the Meat. Cut the pork into slices, season with salt and pepper on both sides, sprinkle with cumin, and lightly dust with plain flour.
-
Preparing the Leek and Garlic. Wash the leek and cut it into rounds, peel the garlic and chop it finely.
-
Searing the Meat. Heat a little oil in a pan and sear the meat over medium-high heat for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden, then set it aside.
-
Sautéing the Leek. In the same pan, add a piece of butter, the leek, and the garlic, and sauté over medium heat for about 2–3 minutes until the leek softens.
-
Stewing the Meat with Leek. Return the meat to the pan, add enough water to partially submerge the meat, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 15–20 minutes until the meat is tender.
-
Serving. Drain the potatoes and serve with the pork slice on leek.

Meatloaf in Creamy Sauce and Carlsbad Dumpling
Make a traditional creamy sauce, just a little differently and more quickly. Instead of beef, we will prepare it with meatloaf roast. As a side dish, we will use a soft and delicious Karlovy Vary dumpling.
