Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Get all the ingredients ready so you have everything at hand - let's cook! 🔪🔥
-
Cut the potatoes. Wash the potatoes, cut them in half, and place them in a baking dish.
-
Add the leek. Clean the leek, cut it lengthwise into larger pieces, and add it to the baking dish with the potatoes.
-
Season and bake. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with caraway seeds, and bake in the oven at 180 C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
-
Slice the onion. Peel the onion and cut it into strips.
-
Saute the onion. Saute the onion in a saucepan in oil over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes, until translucent.
-
Add the wine. Pour in the wine and let it reduce over medium to higher heat to a thicker, syrupy consistency.
-
Add the cream. Add the cream and bring to a boil over medium heat.
-
Melt the cheeses. Stir in the tvaruzky and blue cheese, reduce the heat or turn off the stovetop, and let the cheeses melt.
-
Blend the sauce. Blend with a hand blender until smooth, thinning with water or milk as needed to the desired consistency.
-
Serve. Pour the sauce onto a plate, add the baked potatoes with leek, and sprinkle with caraway seeds 🍽️✨
