Fragrant apple gingerbread cake with chocolate glaze 🍎🍫 A simple homemade dessert that is perfect with coffee or afternoon tea.

What you will need

Chocolate 50 g -
Plain Flour 0.25 cup -
Semi-coarsed flour 0.25 cup -
Sugar 0.25 cup -
Eggs 0.25 pcs

Milk 75 ml -
Vegetable oil 0.13 cup -
Mix of spices for baking 0.25 tbsp -
Coconut grated 12.5 g -
Baking powder 0.25 pcs

Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍎✨

Mix the dry ingredients. Put the all-purpose flour, semi-coarse flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt into a bowl

Add the spices. Add gingerbread spice to the mixture and stir.

Add the liquid ingredients. Add the milk, oil, and egg

Add the apples. Wash the apples, peel them if necessary, grate them, and add them to the mixture.

Prepare the pan. Grease the pan with oil or butter and dust it with coconut.

Bake the gingerbread cake. Mix everything thoroughly for about 1-2 minutes, pour into the pan, and bake in the oven at 180 C for about 40 minutes. Check doneness with a skewer.

Prepare the glaze. Melt the chocolate with a little milk in a saucepan over low heat for about 2-3 minutes.

Finish the gingerbread cake. Spread the chocolate glaze over the baked gingerbread cake and sprinkle with coconut 🍰✨
