Steps to cook
-
Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - in a moment we will bake with them 🍪☕✨
-
Brew and let the coffee cool. Brew the coffee (ideally espresso or instant) and let it cool slightly at room temperature
-
Whisk the butter with the sugar. In a larger bowl, whisk the softened butter with the sugar until light and fluffy
-
Add the peanut butter and coffee. Add the peanut butter, egg, vanilla or vanilla sugar, and the cooled coffee, and mix into a smooth mixture
-
Stir in the flour. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt, and gradually work the dry ingredients into the liquid mixture
-
Stir in the chocolate and chill the dough. Stir in the chopped chocolate and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes so it holds its shape better
-
Preheat the oven and form mounds. Preheat the oven to 180 C and use a spoon to place mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving enough space between them
-
Bake the cookies. Bake in the oven at 180 C for about 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center remains soft
-
Let cool and serve. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack and serve 🍽️✨
