Steps to cook

Preparation Of Ingredients. Prepare all ingredients – we will cook with them shortly ✨

Preparation Of Vegetables. Peel and cut the carrots and parsnips into smaller pieces. Chop the onion finely.

Sautéing The Vegetables. Heat the butter over medium heat. Add the onion, carrots and parsnips and sauté for 6–8 minutes until the vegetables become translucent.

Adding Mustard And Flour. Add mustard and flour. Sauté over medium heat for 1–2 minutes until the flour loses its raw taste.

Cooking The Sauce Base. Pour in water, bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 25–30 minutes until the vegetables are completely soft.

Preparation Of Meat Meatballs. Mix ground beef with salt and pepper. Form small meat meatballs.

Finishing The Sauce. Blend the sauce, add salt and stir in sour cream. Simmer gently over low heat for 3–5 minutes. Optionally add a little mustard and sugar to taste.

Cooking The Meatballs In The Sauce. Place the meatballs in the sauce and simmer over low heat for 10–12 minutes until cooked through.

Preparation Of Dumplings. Slice the dumplings and heat in steam or according to package instructions for 3–5 minutes.

Serving. Serve the beef sirloin with meatballs and bread dumplings ✨
