Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we'll be cooking with them in a moment 👩🍳✨ and preheat the oven to 200°C

Grate the apples. Coarsely grate the apples and squeeze out excess liquid

Prepare the filling. In a bowl, mix the grated apples, raisins, crushed walnuts, cinnamon, sugar

Spread the dough. Roll out the pastry on your work surface. Add the filling a little in from the bottom edge. Roll the strudel by folding the sides inward first, then rolling from the top down.

Brush with egg. Transfer the strudel to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with beaten egg

Bake the strudel. Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes until the strudel turns golden

Serve. Let cool and serve lightly dusted with powdered sugar if you like 🍽️😋
