Steps to cook
-
Preheat the oven. Prepare all the ingredients and preheat the oven to 200 C - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍝✨
-
Soak the roll. Slice the roll and soak it in water so it can absorb it
-
Mix the meat mixture. Add the egg, squeezed roll, salt, and pepper to the ground meat and mix everything thoroughly
-
Form the meatballs. Shape smaller meatballs in your palms from the prepared meat mixture
-
Cut the mozzarella. Cut the mozzarella into smaller cubes
-
Saute the garlic. Pour olive oil into a pan, add the garlic, and saute over medium heat for about 2 minutes until golden
-
Brown the meatballs. Add the meatballs to the pan and brown them over medium to high heat for 3-4 minutes on all sides
-
Add the tomato sauce. Add the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper, and cook together over medium heat for 3-4 minutes
-
Prepare the baking dish. Brush the baking dish with olive oil
-
Layer the first layer. Spread bechamel over the bottom of the baking dish and add a layer of lasagna
-
Layer the second layer. Spread another layer of bechamel on top, add several meatballs with sauce and a little cheese, cover with another layer of lasagna, and press down lightly
-
Finish with the third layer. Add bechamel again, meatballs with sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan, cover with the last layer of lasagna, and press down lightly
-
Bake in the oven. Spread the remaining bechamel on top, add the remaining mozzarella, only the sauce from the meatballs, and generously sprinkle with Parmesan, bake in the oven at 200 C for about 35 minutes
-
Serve. Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, and serve 🍽️✨
