Steps to cook

Prepare the ingredients. Prepare all the ingredients - we will be cooking with them in a moment 🍗✨

Prepare the cilantro. Finely chop the cilantro.

Grate the garlic and ginger. Finely grate the garlic and ginger.

Prepare the marinade. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil (you can use whichever you have at home), and sugar, then add the garlic and ginger and stir.

Cut the chicken. Cut the chicken into larger pieces.

Marinate the meat. Add the meat to the marinade, mix well, and let it rest for at least 10 minutes.

Cook the rice. Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions, usually about 15-20 minutes over medium heat.

Prepare the skewers. Thread the marinated meat onto skewers.

Fry the meat. In a heated pan with a little oil, fry the meat over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve. Serve the chicken satay with rice and sprinkle with chopped cilantro 🍗✨
